Which GPS navigation options are available in Brazil.?

We are planning a trip to Brazil. I plan to buy a gps navigator. To which I can get expansion cards for rural areas in Brazil. I know that for Garmin devices I can get maps of Sao Paulo, Rio and Belo Horizonte, but I go to several smaller city and especially in rural areas.
