Car DVD player + USB hard drive?
My in-dash DVD player / radio / CD player / GPS has RCA inputs on the back and a mini USB input on the front. I wondered if I could use a USB to RCA adapter and the second in my Disk Drive 500 GB, but I do not think they recognize each other. My assumptions are correct? Also, is there a way to get to the front USB input on the front from the rear?
If you get a hard drive with a single USB connector, it will work. but it could be difficult to find a case of external hard drive which uses 1 USB port as power and data set out, most have USB data and an electrical outlet to function, you can get one, but then you need a power converter that plugs into the cigarette lighter but there is a $ 20 Walmart. if you have movies and songs on the hard drive it should work, She worked on my deck. i problem was that my hard disk had a program on it so all my deck would do was try to read then I program.but Progarm removed this it worked.
