Is there a portable car gps system made, which show the point of interest on the screen while driving?
A Garmin Nuvi 265WT will not do. If Garmin is told that he NEANT systems will. What I mean is that to view "icons POI "on the map (like the little gas pump for gas plants), you must tap the screen and go to 300ft, but then the screen map is "frozen" and the icon of your car will be driven to the right of the screen and the screen will stay there until you press button on the back, which refers to any icon (other than those of your favorites). I want to see all the icons on the map in motion. I have experience with factory navigation systems (eg Audi A8) and these systems do. You can choose the type of POI that you do and do not want and they will all on the map as you drive. All stations, restaurants, ATM, libraries, museums, etc. Does TomTom or Magellan or any other permit? Thank you, Landon
My Magellan shows a lot. You just said the menu that you want to show, such as petrol stations, parks, camping, etc.
