Better and cheaper – Advances in digital photography
Like all things electronic the older technology becomes more affordable it becomes. This language is once again proven right when we think of digital cameras. The first digital cameras resolution pathetic and had cost an arm and a leg to own. With advances in sensor technology and a better conservation and better equipment is now make headway in the broader market.
The newer digital cameras have been greatly benefit from technological advances in the computing power for small appliances. While digital cameras are not always match the film cameras in terms of shutter speed and resolution they get close enough to where it is less visible. The new models are taking full advantage of advances in touch screen technology developed for the likes of the iphone.
Some new features of the latest entrants to the market:
Touchscreens:
Screens tactile jumping from cell phones to digital cameras. Sony, Nikon, Samsung, Canon and other companies have released cameras touchscreen. Touch screens eliminate the clutter of different buttons and make them more attractive. The touch screens as the other cameras trickier.
GPS receivers:
Geo Tagging photos is all the craze. new digital cameras like the Samsung has built ST1000 GPS receiver. It records the location of each photo is taken. This allows more precise geo tagging. Some of these cameras can also serve as systems navigation and help you avoid getting lost in the desert or the jungle of concrete where you want to live.
Faces and smiles of recognition:
Faces and smiles of recognition are amazing when it comes to taking pictures of these subjects and unpredictable, like children. These cameras can detect a human face and focus optimally face. The smile detection can be used to click on the image when the child smiles. This allows to capture the best expressions without having to take multiple photos.
As great as all these features are, but they do make work easier to take pictures. They are no substitute for good sense and knowledge of photography. While I welcome the progress that I still advocate everyone want to use a camera must invest time in obtaining the necessary knowledge.
