What is the best GPS unit for use in Canada?
I'm not looking for fancy stuff like Bluetooth or mp3 etc. I just want the most functional road planning with the best GPS maps of Canada. I want it to be Mac-compatible, offer re-routing and planning with multiple destinations, be able to save routes, spoken street names, and no extra things to buy (ie: traffic unit). All advice would be welcome – Thanks!
I have a Garmin Nuvi 200 (I think it's one of the most basic models from Garmin). You use maps of anywhere in the world – I do not know if you download them or what. This model is really friendly. It tells you when to turn but does not say street names (street names are written – it will see "Turn right on Pine Street at the top of the screen, and said aloud "Turn right in point three miles). It does re-routing and multiple destinations. You can even add a step along the path.
