Why is my internet connected but my pages are not opening?
We have a DSL connection at home and the DSL is shared between 4 PCs and 1 Laptop. All of them are showing *internet connected* but the browser pages are not opening only in one of the PCs. What is the problem and how can it be fixed? Thanks!
I have already tried restarting the PC and the modem too (or is that the router?!)
Someone mentioned DHCP.. how do i enable that?
Restart the computers where the internet doesn’t work. If still, carry on.
Because you have number of computers share a internet connection, so I thought you have a router or switch. So, the most important thing is to check if you enable DHCP wherever on the router or the DSL modem. Also you have to check if the network connection is set to “IP obtain automatically” on all of your computers, especially on the computer where internet doesn’t work.
