Jensen 3.5 "Touch Screen Portable Navigation System (NVX-225) … a reasonable choice?
I recently bought a Jensen 3.5 "Touch Screen Portable Navigation System (NVX-225) and I was wondering if it fulfills its purpose. I've heard mixed reviews about many recent GPS navigation systems and it appears that Jensen is not as great as the TomTom GO 910 which was what I "was" examination. BUT, I decided that $ 400 for a navigation system is out of my pockets and I really just need one that would do its job as thoroughly as possible. Jensen NVX-225 on a good price @ $ 180 but it does let me think about whether or not if I'm the best for my money. I have not heard much from Jensen Touch & Go portable navigation system but would like the opinion of anyone who has this product and how it compares with The TomTom GO 910 on the specific purpose of "navigation". I could not really less about all the additional features of the TomTom GO 910 has to offer if the specifications to help seal the deal as a consumer … just … not for $ 400 or $ 500.
Jensen NVX225 The good: The Jensen NVX225 GPS car affordable and offers text and voice-guided directions and other navigation tools base. The bad: The interface NVX225 and overall user experience is not as smooth as competing products, and it lacks a feature text-to-speech. The points-based data of interest is also updated. The bottom line: As an entry-level GPS, NVX225 Jensen offers all the basics at an affordable price tag, but you can get a user experience more efficient and the Mio C230 or Garmin Nuvi 200. a better solution: Mio DigiWalker C230 it good: The Mio DigiWalker C230 System Portable navigation offer text to speech functionality and an affordable price tag. Its screen is much improved over its predecessor. The Bad: the onscreen keyboard is a bit cramped, and we wish there was an easier way to adjust the volume. The result: With an improved display and adding-to-speech text feature, the Mio DigiWalker C230 is a solid and affordable entry-level portable navigation system GPS for beginners.
