What is the best sounder / GPS combo …?

I currently own a Lowrance X-91 and I bought 4 years ago for 400.oo. $ I only had problems with him. First time I returned they updated the software … it still would not find the bottom. I sent back and they sent me a new unit. He still does the same thing, they sent me a new transducer … he worked for about 2 fishing trips … Now the screen is only half the … I called Lowrance and they do not serve units over and told me it would be cheaper to buy a new one. So … BESIDES Lowrance … Is there a better sounder / GPS combination and company stand behind him?

I like Lowrance GPS / Fish Finders. I have an X-135 and I've never had a problem with that. My brother an Eagle – 450 DF SeaCharter. This is a less expensive and he swears by it. So if you want to save money, I suggest the Eagle. It is always manufactured by Lowrance, though. Happy Fishing and Good Luck
