nuvi gps 255w
TomTom One XL or Garmin Nuvi 255W?
Looking to buy a gps and were reduced to two. I think. We examined both and decided that it lacks features that are better than the other. I tried to find user reviews on some sights, but most are not too many. So I ask: Does the TomTom One XL work better together as a Garmin Nuvi 255W? If you have any other suggestions, I would look, here's what I know I am looking for: widescreen (I saw the screen in normal use and prefer wide) Easy update data and maps, including other POI (I know, Garmin has it but not sure TomTom) satellite coverage in reliable and fast transfer automatic route. A maximum price of $ 300 (about $ 250 would be great)
TomTom ONE XL lacks text-to-speech, which for me is the element Most important than common ground. However, you can get TomTom ONE XL-S. It comes with text-to-speech, and is still cheaper than Garmin nuvi 255w. Neither company provides free update to the official map, but with TomTom you can get updates to the map of other users under their website.
