Works as it should be, great value.
It works as it should be, great value compare to other bike mounts for other GPS devices. Easy to install, tightly and securely mounted on the handlebar.
I read some reviews, ppl said it slips during the off road ride, so I did little modification during the installation. I put a piece of inner tube at the bottom between the handle bar and cable tie. I have gone out few times and never have any problem. Good Luck!

GPS Bike Mount Bracket
This is a simple mounting bracket that will allow you to attach the Garmin Oregon 400t to your bicycle handle bars. It comes with 4 wire ties. I would like to have the wire ties replaced with something that would let you easily take the bracket off without having to cut the ties each time you want to have the bracket on another bike. Other wise, I recommend this item.

Works great
For those reviewers that mentioned the zip ties not holding as tight – I cut a piece of old rubber inner tube from a bicycle tire between the handlebar and the mount. This keeps the unit from being able to slip on the handlebars and also provides a bit of shock absorption. Works like a champ. Has not moved since I installed it on my 1800 v-twin motorcycle. With as much shaking as that engine does to the bike, the mount must be secure!

Works for Dakota series
I bought this mount for use with a Garmin Dakota 20. It comes with 4 ties(2 extra) and a mounting bracket.
Mounting this tightly was somewhat of a hassle. If you tighten the ties by hand, the GPS will move around during bumpy mountain biking. If you only do road biking, it will most likely be secure enough. What I did to further secure the mount was take some pliers and hold the tie lock (square part) and pulled the tie with another pair of pliers as hard as I could. This got a few more *clicks* out of it and it secured much better than by hand.
Some garmin mounts have the brackets that encircle the handlebar and tighten with a screw. It’s unfortunate Garmin didn’t create this type of mount for Dakotas/Oregons as they are much more secure and stable. Still, with a little extra effort, the annoying little ties work fine.
