Best gps data Logger for Geotagging with Canon EOS 450D?
I have a Canon EOS 450D and I want a good GPS data logger can I keep in my pocket or bag and use to geotag my photo. I have no need for car navigation or something like that just geotagging, although I saw The GlobalSat GH-625 shows I'd be curious to know if thats any good as I do a lot of walking. if I was seeing things as GlobalSat DG-100 or Amod AGL3080 GPS Photo Tracker. Any advice / suggestions would be great.
I actually used to test a few of these recorders out at work. Basically, the only thing I noticed is that those using the MTK chipset acquire the signal faster and do a better job of locking on those who use the SiRF III (as Amod). Regarding the accuracy goes, they are all roughly the same. In addition to these, I also have some of the others. Up Now the one I like best is by GiSTEQ PhotoTrackr. It costs about $ 100 when I got it from http://www.semsons.com/. I also PhotoTrackr Lite. It does not use Bluetooth (which I did not really), he can not act as a gps mouse (works only as a recorder), but it uses a single AA battery (good when you do not want to worry about charging a lithium ion). However, the Lite version does remains in the satellite faster than Bluetooth does.
