GPS tracker that does not use the network of cellular towers?
I am looking for a battery powered GPS Tracker that I can ask the location of the device at any time, and require no cell towers. Most of the ones I found require you to be in the range of cell towers. I found one that does not require of cellular towers. I read on the Spot Personal Tracker (http://www.findmespot.com/en/), but it costs $ 99 + subscriptions $ 99/year + $ 49/year for Track Progress function that lets you see where the device is.
