What GPS and software will be best for a local truck driver? Why?
Just look for a good GPS system specially software that has the best or most complete database Add to a truck driver.Specialy 7-11 stores (I deliver gas to 7-11 stores throughout Central Florida)
I would regular streets and the route of travel. (Pardon the pun) routing software, you will find for we in commercial trucks will be expensive, and packed with features you will not be able to use. toll calculation (ie routes Cross-country skiing, and NY etc) Streets and Trips, or an equivalent will give you the option to display or hide information. Ya could set to hide everything but gas stations ……… It is remarkably detailed and updated. Me, I get roads and directions through the Quallcomm, then run the same route through my laptop, and compare the two.
